CONGRATS
EP!

The Quad City Cannons would like to congratulate Ethan (EP) Patterson for his amazing accomplishment of being selected to the 2017 12U Select30 Team. As part of the an original group of 125 elite baseball players from all across the country, that were scouted and invited down to the Select30 event in Orlando, Florida, EP went through daily fundamental workouts administered by the Select30 Task Force and former Professional players. This formal instruction included Infielder and Outfield mechanics, positioning/throwing; Catcher mechanics, foot work, blocking/throwing; Pitcher education on arm health, training/preparation; Hitting for power, situational hitting/moving runners, base running and stealing. In addition to these pro-style workouts each morning, he also play scouted instructional games each afternoon. At the conclusion of the workouts and games, former Professional players along with the Scouting Task Force chose two 15 player teams to play in the S30 Top Prospect Games. EP made the Red Team and was the starting & winning pitcher in the championship game. Great job EP!

HISTORY
The Quad City Cannons started as a single team in 2009 by a few local families in order to provide a competitive baseball environment that extends beyond what was available in the area. Since that time the organization has developed into 9 baseball teams from 8U-14U and new for the 2018 season, a 12U and 14U softball team.
